An explicit dynamics analysis was performed in ANSYS 2023 R2 to evaluate the deformation response of a structure under transient dynamic loading. The model was properly meshed, boundary conditions were defined, and a time-dependent load was applied. The solver analyzed the structural response through numerous small time increments, generating contour results that clearly showed deformation concentrated in certain areas while others remained stable. The deformation started small and gradually increased, reaching a peak value of around 0.10052 m, with an average deformation of about 0.0448 m at the final step. The time-history graph indicated an almost linear growth that accelerated near the end. Regions in red marked maximum displacement, while blue regions represented minimal motion. Overall, the results demonstrated that explicit dynamics is a robust and reliable approach for analyzing transient deformation in structural components and can be effectively applied to similar engineering problems.
