In the recent year, Hospital and Community Pharmacy Practice has become an important part in the health care system worldwide. In Bangladesh, this system is still in the primary stage. This current work reveals the real scenario of the Hospital and Community Pharmacy Practice in Bangladesh.To evaluate the actual condition,repeated visiting was done personally with proper authority those who are specialist and responsible for conducting the hospital pharmacy and community pharmacy practice in some selected private hospitals and community pharmacies of Bangladesh. By the survey, data was collected about the services, facilities and the problems of Hospital and Community Pharmacy. This system is very much essential for the proper health care system of the country and also for the employment of large number of competent pharmacist.So,it is the time for the pharmacist, health professional, entrepreneurs and government to come forward to establish standard Hospital and Community Pharmacy setting throughout the country.

Amlan Ganguly has completed the M.Pharm(Thesis) from Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology,Faculty of Pharmacy,University of Dhaka,Bangladesh.He has completed his B.Pharm from the same institute.Now he is working as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy,Jagannath University,Bangladesh.He is self-motivated, energetic &keen in research.
