The idea of preparing this book came about when we were studying for a PhD in Geography at UFPE. As we studied the course, we researched related subjects on the YouTube platform, from which we downloaded videos of various subjects related to changes in the environmental landscape and environmental disasters of natural or man-made origin. Thus, when we traveled to beaches in other Brazilian states, we always came across significant changes that encouraged us to record the alterations to the environment.

Während des Studiums recherchierten wir verwandte Themen auf der Plattform YouTube, von der wir Videos zu verschiedenen Themen im Zusammenhang mit Veränderungen in der Umweltlandschaft und Umweltkatastrophen natürlichen oder menschlichen Ursprungs herunterluden. Als wir zu Stränden in anderen brasilianischen Bundesstaaten reisten, stießen wir immer wieder auf signifikante Veränderungen, die uns dazu anregten, die Umweltveränderungen zu dokumentieren.
