In philosophy of language, the fundamental problem is: how to determine and stipulate the reference of a singular term, like a proper name. He qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) for lectureship and did doctorate from the same university. He has made important contributions in philosophy of language; including a critique of Frege, Russell and Kripke.
