Have you ever heard of the 10 Commandments? (Yes/No). (Exodus 20:1-17). If God were to judge you right now by the 10 Commandments, how you would do? Let's use only four of them.... Number 1: Have you ever told a lie before? (Yes/No). What do you call a person who lies? "A liar." Number 2: Have you ever stolen anything before? (Yes/No). What do you call someone that steals? "A thief." Number 3: Have you ever looked upon a man or a woman in a lustful way? (Yes/No). God says "That anyone who looks at a woman or man lustfully has already committed adultery within their heart (Matthew 5:28). Number 4: Have you ever used God's name in vain? (Yes/No). God's last name is not Dammit If so, you're called a blasphemer By your own admission you are a Liar, a Thief, an Adulterer, and a Blasphemer. If God were to judge you right now based on four or three or two, would you go to Heaven or Hell? Would you be innocent or guilty? "Guilty " So, would you go to Heaven or Hell? You would not be going to Heaven; you will be going to Hell. (Romans 3:10). This is what Christ has done for you: Say you went to court for owing $100,000 in back taxes and the judge asks you to pay it or go to jail. Well you know you don't have a $100,000, so you tell the judge "I cannot pay." So the judge asks the bailiff to handcuff you and escort you to your jail cell. Right before you leave the room a man stands up and offers to pay your fine. The man takes out his checkbook and writes a check for a $100,000 dollars and gives it to the judge. The judge says "You are now free." How would you feel about this man that paid the fine? Would you be grateful, happy, thankful, to this man? That is what Jesus did for you when He died for you on the cross and paid for your sins. And He takes out His hand and shakes your hand and says "Will you follow Me?" (Yes/No).
