In this work, low-cost techniques are explored, enabling anyone with access to an under-graduate level Optics lab to assemble their own Optical Coherence Tomography instruments. This book is an adaptation of the 2019 PhD thesis "Design and fabrication of low-cost Optical Coherence Tomography instruments with novel features towards aiding in medical diagnostics" submitted and accepted at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL), Deemed to be University, Prasanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh, India. The layout has been tweaked to enhance readability, and the title and cover page have been modified. The contents are essentially the same as in the thesis, except for some references which have been updated. The references to code have been moved to web links on GitHub instead of listing them in the Appendices.Special thanks to Dr. Debadatta Swain, alumnus of SSSIHL and currently teaching at IIT Bhubaneswar, who was the moving force behind getting this book published.
