This book give insight in the results of the exerpiments done with Ground Condolidators. This report will focus on the tests that evaluate the proposed execution method. In this execution method, the Ground Condolidators will be placed in batches (with help of a clamshell) on the bed to create a mattress. This mattress will slow down the current and protect the pipeline or the seabed. Several results were found, such as the best handling method for the clamshell, the best construction order and some recomendations for further research.

Cindy Van De Vries is also a student at the faculty of Civil Engineering. She will start her Master studies soon in the field of Hydraulic Engineering. Because of the experiments done in this thesis,Cindy got interested in working with, under and above water. The insights from this thesis resulted in enthusiasm to work in the Hydraulic field. Gerben Hagenaars is a student at the faculty of Civil Engineering at the Delft University of Technology. Recently,he started his Masters in Hydraulic Engineering. The topic of this book was an eye opener for his insight in the effects of building with nature. When nature joins the engineering solution,the sustainable effects are significant.
