There are some research pieces conducted on writing and feedback provision techniques.Some are largely concerned with peer and teacher-correction strategies.However,in the face of current learner-centered methodology, little research work has been done on learner self-correction strategies. This research work is, therefore, designed to give language students the opportunity to teach and train themselves to be good writers in particular and effective learners in general.

Teshome, GetachewI am currently working at Ambo University, Ethiopia. I did my first degree in English at Kotebe College of Teacher Education. Then after serving for 6 years at Menesibu High School (W.Wollega), I joined Addis Ababa University for an M.A. in TEFL in 2007 and graduated in 2009. I have served as a lecturer for three years and I am doing my PhD.D now.
