Viewing society as a spatial structure, it has been observed that social and economic processes vary from place to place, in addition to the varying natural phenomena. As a result, different processes entail varying contradictions leading to different geographical patterns of distribution with varying spatial dimensions of social and economic inequalities. The Provinces of Sindh and Balochistan have been selected for an inquiry into the spatial dimensions of social and economic inequalities. The forty-seven districts (Census 1998) of both provinces have been made the basis of analyzing the pattern of social and economic disparities.
