There is a line in a popular song, "looking for love in all the wrong places." I am going to suggest part of the problem is, there is not much love in the right places. The church has become so burdened with denominational guidelines, political sidelines, and social program design, that she has left her calling. The last and most important command Jesus left us, was to love one another as He had loved us. Unfortunately the church has forgotten the command and made it obsolete just as the Jews did in the Old Testament. Therefore we send the hurting and needy to all the wrong places looking for love. The message of this book examines where we have failed and attempts to redirect the church to her duty as commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ. He said, if we love one another as He has loved us, the world would know that we are His disciples. In this command was no mention of denomination guidelines, political sidelines, or social program design. I believe if we get back to the basics, "Love ye one another as I have loved you; the church will regain her posture and miracles will begin to happen by the move of the Holy Spirit. How to accomplish this task lie waiting to grab our hearts and propel our spirits towards love in a way that most have not experienced. I suggest we stop and feel the love of the Lord Jesus, as He hung on the cross. Here is where we begin.
