In order to achieve better crop protection against the background of increasing pesticide use, deleterious effects of residues on environment, keeping level with fast changing agricultural scenario of the country, the more efficient and sophisticated equipment's are necessary to introduce in agriculture. Therefore, a tractor mounted hydraulic boom sprayer for field crop spraying was designed and developed. The performance of the sprayer was evaluated to study the effect of different nozzle pressure and nozzle discharge levels on the uniformity of the spraying.
