A fundamental change in the planning and delivery of new housing projects has taken place in the last years, with the focus shifting towards adding value to projects based on a better understanding of housing preferences. Alina Delgado is an architect specialized on the fields of housing and urban development. She has over twenty five years of working and academic experience. Actually she works as professor and researcher at the University Espiritu Santo of Guayaquil-Ecuador and as Post-doctoral researcher at the Catholic University of Leuven-Belgium.
