How did women struggle to have equal access to leadership and other positions in the church? How can the church be reorganised or reformed to enable women play a more effective and satisfying role in the church? This book is recommended to policy makers and scholars in gender studies.

Dr. Daniel Rotich Kandagor (Ph.D) is a History lecturer at Egerton University, Kenya. He is an avid researcher in Women and Gender studies. He is soon publishing two other works on the roles of women among the pastoralists in the Horn of Africa and a biography of Mukami Dedan Kimathi, the wife to Kenya's freedom fighter, Dedan Kimathi.
