Ozone variations have been a serious problem facing most scientists as its depletion continues to constitute menace to the world. Nigeria is in the tropical region where little or no research work involving solar dynamical processes effects on ozone changes has been carried out probably due to the earlier assertion that zonal winds were weak in the tropics. This work establishes that the changes in Atmospheric Angular Momentum (AAM) caused by the changes in the Length of Day (LOD) transfers ozone (O3) by means of zonal wind from the upper troposphere to the lower stratosphere in the tropics. And since O3 transportation is distinctly enhanced by the zonal winds in Nigeria, the zonal winds are not weak in the tropics. However, this work affirms that O3 variations are more pronounced in the higher than in the low latitude
