Nano crystalline multiphase CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) was prepared by co-precipitation . A homogeneous ceramics-polymer composites consisting of CCTO particles as fillers and epoxy polymer as matrix have been prepared using a casting process. As a result of increasing the content of CCTO, the dielectric constant and dielectric loss of composites were increased. The increase of dielectric loss at high frequencies was due to the relaxation process in the polymer matrix. For the CaCu3Ti4O12/Polyethylene composite, the composite was prepared using solid state method then was thermo-mechanic treated. The dielectric constant of the composite was studied at different temperatures. Based on the results, it was found that the observed loss at low frequency in the composite was due to a relaxation process, and may be related to the interfacial layer between the CaCu3Ti4O12 particle and polymer matrix. It was found that the dielectric constant in the composites using Polyethylene independent of temperature, which is good for dielectric applications.
