The current study was directed to research the "Discernment of Pitfalls in Understanding Finite and Non-Finite Verb Structures by the English Language Learners". For this purpose, the data was collected from 200 English Language Learners of Intermediate Level from the Hope College of Science & Management, Garden Town Sillwanwali, Sargodha Division, Punjab (Pakistan). The study interpreted the variables through three theories: "Linguistic Morphology (Bauer, 2003)", "Syntactic Functions (Jong-Bok Kim and Peter Sells, 2007)" and "The Principle of Semantic Compositionality (Gottlob Frege, 1953)" to achieve the objectives of the research. An experimental approach was used to collect quantitative primary data by utilizing McNemar Test Conduction in two stages: Pre-Test and Post-Test. Sampling techniques of Convenience were used to collect data. Six-week treatment was conducted to find out the range between two extreme Tests. Other techniques such as classroom activities whether written tests or oral discussions and finally home assignments got collected to produce the desired findings. The objectives led the study to check the competence level of the English Language Learners.
