This book deals with earthquake prediction and physical mechanisms of Seismo-electromagnetic (SEM) emissions. SEM emissions are the most promising area of research, to monitor and analyze the effects in the earth and ionosphere that occur several days to few hours before the earthquake. This area of science may very well provide the foundation for earthquake forecasting. This book is aimed to detect the SEM emissions for the earthquake forecasting on ground based and satellites based methods. Especially, ULF emissions are promising candidate for earthquake prediction. This frequency range is easily detected at the earth's surface because of the deeper skin depth effect and low attenuation than that of higher frequency. In this book, analysis of ULF data for spectral density, polarization analysis, fractal analysis and Schumann Resonance Phenomenon, has been shown. This book also contains possible statistical correlation between ionospheric perturbations and earthquakes. Ionospheric perturbations constituted by variations of temperature and density of ionic and electronic components of ionospheric plasma were detected insitu DEMETER and SROSS-C2 satellites.
