Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is an important cash crop grown across 120 countries in the world. It is providing raw materials for several agro-based industries for the development of the country after textiles. It commands greater significance due to its remarkable contribution to our nation's economy through foreign exchange earnings. Entrepreneurship is necessary for the sugarcane industry for the socio-economic development of rural areas by mobilizing rural resources, generating employment, and enhancing the income of the farmers. It was also found that the majority (71.11%) of jaggery producers had a medium level of entrepreneurial behavior. Variables of family size, family type, category, and livestock holding had negatively significant and education, occupation, mass media, and cosmopoliteness had a positively significant association with the entrepreneurial behavior of jaggery producers.
