Data were gathered through the survey design using questionnaire and analyzed using the software package for social sciences (SPSS) The findings show that there was a significant relationship between the incidence of money laundering and economic development. It is a repository of understanding the elements and effects of money laundering coupled with a coherent systematization of the procedures of social science research work.
