The development of modern pulsed lasers with intense short duration in the femtosecond regime have enabled experimentalists to study processes such as excitation mechanisms, ionization and dissociation processes, molecular dynamics and optimal control of chemical reactions in different areas of physics and chemistry. In parallel to the experimental investigations, simulations and numerical studies of laser driven multiatomic molecules need to predict the behavior of a large variety of partly counter-intuitive phenomena. Indeed, the ionization and dissociation patterns in multi-atomic molecules at high laser intensities are strongly dependent on the laser parameters, which can act as control impacts. It should be noted that for interaction of multi-atomic molecules with high laser intensities, many simplified presented models fail to explain some outstanding phenomena and most of the obtained results are contradicted with experimental observations. Therefore, many important issues have still remained unanswered in this interesting subject.
