Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) affects 5% to 10% of reproductive-age women and is linked to various metabolic and reproductive issues. The latest 2018 guidelines suggest lifestyle management as the primary treatment for PCOS. This study aimed to assess lifestyle modification interventions in infertile overweight and obese women with PCOS, using a quasi-experimental design in Beni-Suef University Hospital. Results indicated significant improvements in menstrual cycle regularity, BMI, waist circumference, and various cholesterol and glucose levels, along with enhanced fertility and ovulation. The study concludes that diet and exercise should be prioritized in treating PCOS and recommends educational programs to promote lifestyle changes among women.
