Conventional methods of solving scheduling problems based on priority rules still result schedules, sometimes, with significant idle times. To optimize these, this book model the problem of a flowshop scheduling with the objective of minimizing the make span. The work proposed here deal with the Production Planning Problem, PPP of a FMS. Ajay Kumar Agarwal, received his B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra(Haryana) & M.B.U, Solan(Himachal Pradesh) in 2005 and 2012 respectively, and his MBA in OB&HRM from G.J.U, Hisar(Haryana) in 2008. He has published 2 Research papers in reputed International Journals and few ones are in pipeline.
