Leif Larsen has a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Winnipeg. His studies focused on microbiology, genetics, biochemistry and organic chemistry. In 2006 and 2007 Leif was a Research Assistant in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Manitoba, where he studied Serratia. Today Leif is a Freelance Journalist and Writer.
