Padmasiri de Silva was Professor of Philosophy at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and a Senior Teaching Fellow at National University of Singapore. He has a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Buddhist Psychotherapy from Sophia College in Perth and has practiced as a counselor and therapist at Springvale Community Centre in Melbourne. He is currently an Adjunct Research Associate at Monash University, Melbourne
