de Roos, Robert W.

de Roos, who was a featured writer on the San Francisco Chronicle, wrote for his high school newspaper and later for the Stanford Daily. He graduated from Stanford University in 1934. His career included work on the Merced Sun-Star and San Francisco News. He was Chief of the San Francisco Life and Times bureau before joining the San Francisco Chronicle in 1945.
