Sohaila Zivari's literary life started in 2006 when she decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an author. She began writing by simply diving into it. Her first work was a satirical play written in Farsi. In the summer of 2011, she published her first book in English, Clay, Fire, and The Potter, an historical novel based on the life and works of the great Sufi poet, Rumi.
