Paul Zimmer was born in 1934 in Ohio and worked for forty years in the book business. He lives retired now in Wisconsin, has been married to Suzanne for fifty-one years, and together they bore two children, have two grandchildren, had five cats and owned five houses. In person he saw Bob Feller and Joe DiMaggio play baseball, heard Robert Frost and W.H. Auden read their poems, listened to Issac Stern and Lester Young play music, heard Big Joe Turner and Leontyne Price sing.
