As a Wisconsin poet, born and raised in Chicago, Marilyn Zelke-Windau has never lived far from Lake Michigan. That lakescape, cityscape, and landscape figure prominently in her work. She likes to make up stories and write about "caught" moments in time. Her poetry can be found in many printed and online venues, including Stoneboat, Verse Wisconsin, Seems, Your Daily Poem, Qarrtsiluni, and Midwest Prairie Review. Her chapbook Adventures in Paradise was published by Finishing Line Press in 2014.
