Zamecnik, Kari

Born in Norway, author Kari Zamecnik grew up during the Nazi Occupation of WWII and the post-war era. After immigrating to the United States as a young adult, she worked for many years as a registered nurse in the field of psychiatry. "Nordic Summer Nights: A Family Story of Betrayal, Forgiveness and Redemption" is her first novel. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
