Corina (Miller) Yoder was born into an Amish family from Northern Indiana and raised in the Amish and Amish-Mennonite Faith. Her parents still live in the Goshen area and so she still considers it "home." There's no place like their front porch with the whole family. Corina was a waitress at the Essenhaus as a teenager and greatly enjoyed creating the story of Elizabeth. The story is a fictional novel, but has actual locations and a few real people in the book.
