Anita Hacker Yingling was born in Maryland. Before her retirement, she worked at the University of Baltimore School of Law as the Director's Assistant for Clinical Programs providing legal services to the elderly. She is a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, albeit an adventurous one, having traveled to all seven continents. Her travel preferences run toward the exotic, having camped with the Masai Warriors on the Serenghetti, slept in the canopy of the Amazon jungle and bathed in a thermal lake in Antarctica. She is active in her church and belongs to a women's investment group,
