I was born in Lebanon, Missouri during the great depression in 1935 and World War II. Eldest daughter of eight children, I grew up in simple times. During my childhood I was sent to live with my grandmother several times. When I finally got to stay living at home with my siblings, I would write stories and read to them. In 1949 my folks moved to Oregon. Then In 1955 I got married and had seven children. My husband died in 1980 and since then I raised my children alone. They are all grown now. My passion these days are writing and bowling. I bowl on a team called the "High Five." I have bowled
