Brian Woodwick became aware of logging and loggers at Beaver, Washington, where his mom, Gene, worked as a Sappho logging camp cook. He began using a Kodak Brownie camera at the age of five in the logging town of Forks and soon moved on to using his mom's news camera. Brian's work has since appeared in newspapers, galleries, museums, and private homes. Previously, he had worked at a Weyerhaeuser Mill.
