While in college, H. Frank Woods worked as an editorial artist for a large Texas newspaper. Later, while painting and living in Paris for several years he wrote travel articles for various newspapers back home and worked on a number of screenplays and movie treatments after returning to the States. In the late 1980's he earned his SAG card and worked as an actor for several decades, mostly in television roles.
