The author, Helena Wolff, uses prophetic imagery to depict the metaphorical aspects of our unique calling and purpose in the kingdom of God. Allegory is one of her favorite modes of communication when dealing with the topic of intimacy with God and Israel's destiny within time and history. Since the misunderstanding of God's beloved Israel and His purpose for the Jewish people will continue to be a point of contention, as the end of the age nears, we will all feel the pressure to choose whom we will serve.
