Beth Wolfensberger Singer is a writer, artist, and crafter whose articles, essays, and reviews have appeared in "The Boston Globe Magazine", "The New York Times", Salon.com, "The Utne Reader", "Better Homes and Gardens", "Health", and other publications. A former children's book editor and staff writer at "Boston Magazine" and "The Boston Phoenix", she has been crocheting pretty much non-stop since the 7th grade. Her cartoons appear regularly in her blog Ambitionectomy.tumblr.com. Her new book, "When Bad Things Happen to Good Crocheters", (Taunton Press) publishes in Fall of 2015.
