Robert Wisehart is the author of three other novels about the adventures of private detective Ethan Cruickshank. They are Cabo, Cabo Revenge, and Cabo Sunset. He also has written three historical novels about the tumultuous life and career of American soldier-statesman Sam Houston: Born for the Storm, The Rising, and The Lion at Bay. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Wisehart is a former award-winning journalist who worked as a reporter and columnist for newspapers in Florida, North Carolina, Louisiana and California.
