Wisbar, Tania

Tania Wisbar was born in Berlin, Germany. Her mother, Eva Kroy Wisbar was a music and art magazine publisher, her father Frank Wisbar, one of Germany's best known film directors. They immigrated during the Nazi era to America. Arriving in Hollywood Frank Wisbar produced and directed the first filmed series made for television FIRESIDE THEATER. Tania's first job at the age of 11 to earn allowance was to read magazine stories for Frank and summarize those that might fit into the format of FIRESIDE THEATER. The parents divorced and Eva moved to Washington, D.C. as a Pentagon based U.S. Air Force
