Winter, Bruce W.

Bruce W. Winter is a widely respected authority on the historical background to the New Testament; he served as warden of Tyndale House, Cambridge, for almost twenty years. His previous books include "Roman Wives, Roman Widows: The Appearance of New Women and the Pauline Communities" and "After Paul Left Corinth: The Influence of Secular Ethics and Social Change."
