Wilson, Barbara J.

Barbara J. Wilson is a Professor in the Department of Speech Communication at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Before joining the University of Illinois, she ws on the faculty at the University of California, Santa Barbara for 12 years.  Her research focuses on the social and psychological effects of mass media on youth.
