The author is no stranger to the rugged landscape of Mars, having spent time in the deserts of Arizona and shaky, southern California. She now lives in the UFO capitol of the world, Roswell, New Mexico, where she writes about strange things, including this MG novel about the friendship of an Earth boy and a gray-green young one from somewhere beyond the Orion Nebula. She is currently adding to her YA soft Sci-Fi fantasy series, The Chronicles of Acqueria.
