Many people have asked what prompted me to write about Jehovah's Witnesses. I was born and raised a strict Witness by parents who each spent more than fifty years in the movement. My father was an elder for most of that time. As a Jehovah's Witness I was certain that I had found the answer to all life's questions and would live forever on earth, while it was transformed into a paradise. Many years were devoted to calling at people's homes to share the good news with them; also to warn them that they could lose their life at Armageddon if they did not heed my message.
