Joey Willis began writing for people at age fifteen, when he habitually snuck out of his parents' house at two in the morning to deliver devotionals to the doorstep of his closest friends. Joey has served as a youth pastor in Texas and Tennessee. He has a passion for young people and the stories they are living. In 2013, Joey travelled the world as a Christian missionary, serving twelve countries on four continents.
