Elizabeth Williams-Medhus emigrated from Vancouver, B.C., Canada in 1961. The Williams family settled in Rolling Hills, California, where she worked as a medical office manager, and later as a freelance consultant. Beth was actively involved with community and international philanthropic organizations. She has been honored with Resolutions from the California State Legislature and Senate, as well as a place on the "Women's Wall of Honor" at El Camino College in Torrance, California.
