Dr. Geoffrey Lee Williams is Director of the Institute of Economic and Political Studies (INSTEP), an independent organisation based in Cambridge, and is a founding Director of The Transatlantic Institute for Study Abroad. He served as Senior Assistant Director, London region, with the Confederation of British Industry for two years after his return to the UK in 1982 and is a master Freeman of the Company of Watermen and Lightermen and a Freeman of the City of London.
