Growing up in the City of Wellston Missouri a small poverty stricken suburban area just outside the City limits of St. Louis on its notorious west side, Dion grew up fast and with a cynical approach to life. Seeing first hand the violence and politics that plague too many of our fatherless American cities he developed his own way of escaping by writing. First by writing poetry and personal thoughts he would only share with himself, to going on to discover his talent and gift for telling stories and building characters.
