Wilkes, Buddy

Buddy Wilkes was born Earl Douglas Wilkes, Jr. in 1959. He was raised in Fairfield County, South Carolina, where he attended school and helped in his father's welding shop and antique store. Following graduation from Richard Winn Academy in 1977, he attended The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, where he graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor's Degree in English.
