White, David H.

David H. White, Jr., grew up in Birmingham, but played high school football at Episcopal High School in Virginia. Upon graduation from Vanderbilt University, David began his journalism career in Tuscaloosa, writing for Bama Magazine. In 1988, White moved to North Carolina and worked for the Carolina Blue Magazine and the Durham Morning Herald. Returning to Alabama in 1990, he continues to write sports and feature articles for Alabama magazines and newspapers. Since 1999, White has been covering Alabama high school football around the state for Birmingham's major dailies.
