White Sr, MR Joe D.

Biography- Joe D. White Sr. Joe was born, raised, and educated in rural Mississippi and Alabama during the '30s, '40s, and '50s. After serving three years in the 82nd Airborne Division, he used the G.I. Bill to receive BS and MS degrees in biology and zoology from Mississippi Southern College. He went to work with the National Wildlife Refuge System where during the course of a thirty five year career he served on six National Wildlife Refuges, three as assistant manager, and three as refuge manager.
