Whitaker, John

John Whitaker was born in India to medical missionaries. They left and moved to St. Catharines, Ontario when John was only six-months-old. He graduated from the Royal Military College and the University of Toronto with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and spent a first career in the military. He retired from the RCAF as a Major to a second career at Spar Aerospace and a third with the Canadian Coast Guard in Toronto and Sarnia where he headed the Marine Navigation Services Division.
